Douglas Dam Headwater Campground: Adjacent to the public boat ramp is also an associated day use and swim area with picnic tables, benches and landscaping. A walking trail
has recently been completed by TVA across the road from the campground. This campground is in close proximity to the tourist areas of the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Townsend.
Douglas Dam Tailwater Campground: In addition to the Look Out Point, adjacent to the campground, is a public day use fishing area, boat ramp, restroom facility and a small store. The store
has been operated by a couple for over forty years under the Randolph Sheppard Act. The campground is in close proximity to the tourist areas of the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
